After fifteen years as a renowned resort course, the next chapter of Hope Island Golf has arrived with Links Hope Island now becoming a private facility with Equity Members. The club is currently in the exciting and early stages of this transitional period. Limited public access is still available, and to gain access to Links Hope Island Golf Course visitors should contact the club well in advance to secure a booking.
Since opening its doors in 1993 the club has been consistently ranked in Australia's top ten resort courses. Host to the 1997 Johnnie Walker Classic and The Qantas Legends Golf Classic each year, the course is both nationally and internationally renowned.
Set in a 360 ha residential resort community, the par 72 course measure approximately 6,500 metres off the championship tees. Designed by five times British Open winner Peter Thomson and design partner Mike Wolveridge, the course was initially carved out of a dairy farm, with the layout following the natural contours of the land.
Careful strategic thinking must be employed around the natural and man made hazards and 128 challenging pot style bunkers. Facilities include;
- Aquatic driving range and chipping/putting greens

- Golf Academy
Regarded as Australia's favourite family theme park, Dreamworld spans 30 hectares and is filled with a variety of rides, shows and attractions. For the safety of the riders and their horses, and all the other performers; video cameras, photography with or without flash and mobile phones cannot be used at any time throughout the show.
Strobe effects and lighting are also used in the production.
The Show involves moderate levels of noise similar to that experienced at a movie cinema and may affect guests known to be hypersensitive to noise.
Strollers or Baby Capsules are not permitted inside the venue but can be stored in the Cloak Room.
Australian Outback Spectacular offers a range of services for all guests. These facilities include:

is recognised among the elite courses in South-East Queensland. Despite its lofty status, Gainsborough
is the type of course social players can enjoy. The course is not so difficult that it deters high-handicappers but the exacting layout makes for a challenging day out for even the more experienced golfer.
